The mother of the Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, Mrs Grace Akeredolu is dead.
The governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr Richard Olatunde, confirmed the death in a statement issued on Thursday.
The statement said the deceased passed on “peacefully in her sleep early this (Thursday) morning, at the age of 90 years.”
It read, “She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members.
“Further announcements will be made by the family in due course.”
